Review by Paul Watkin

42-second excerpt from "Reprint" (various formats)

The Individuals Have Arrived is seven songs, or 19 minutes, in length and still manages to sound somewhat redundant.

The first thing that struck me was the vocals of Nick Haltigin and how similar they are to that of Mark Belke of the Wheat Chiefs, but that's just nature and it works with the songs. The music also seems kind of Wheat Chiefs-ish (and Bad Religion-ish) in style, with rapid bass lines and hard, fast guitar parts often laying back into an intense chorus. The lyrics are of social distaste in nature -- "Just get on with it, don't revel down in it..." -- definitely giving them a worthwhile message. But it seems to be the same message, song after song.

I like the disc, but I think Plan Orange forgot that variety is the spice of life.
