Review by Darren Kerr

Give it up for the riddim. Lay mad props on these Hamilton kids for their ability to fuse thuggee guitar crunch and rock steady reggae stylings. They sing about brotherhood, oppression, the man, and the sacramental herb with a great deal of pride and heart.

Lead singer Ronee has a thick vocal delivery, as potent as strong coffee. Songs like "Put Up Your Dukes," "Who Be the Baddest" and "Idren" are at best like Bad Brains romping in Black Sabbath's playground -- and at worst clumsy, telegraphing their punches. Thankfully, though, even as you're blocking all the rights, they dummy you with enough lefts to knock you on your ass.

A damn fine first effort from a band that's only going to get better.
