Total Chaos is a street punk band. Anthems from the Alleyway is a street punk album. This is not a California skate album. This has a New York street get-that-nightstick-out-of-my-face-cop-boy attitude to it. You know what I mean? If you don't, think Generation X, or the Goops for you younger punks etc. This is just straight ahead street angst. With songs like "Crowd Control," "Voice of the Streets," "Riot 77" and "Born to Lose," Total Chaos drive home their point like a rusty railroad tie to the spleen. What do you want me to say? All of the songs on this album are in your face, to hell with the system, oi!, punk tunes that don't vary from that format. That's it, its good, go buy it. Storm the parliament buildings. I'll go on, but it'll be unnecessary. Stop reading here and go do something with your life.

If you're still with me... Vocally, Rob Chaos sounds like Tim Armstrong of Rancid. Joe Bastard on Bass, Shawn Smash on guitar and Suzy Homewrecker pounding the skins round out the line-up. There's lots of leather, three mohawks and four punks with hoodlum names. Sounds like a tough crowd. Suits the CD. Stop reading now.
